Pâeez — meaning autumn in Farsi — is rooted in Mona’s Persian heritage. Her family moved from Iran to Norway during the Iranian Revolution in 1979, carrying with them culture, resilience, and tradition.
In 2018, Mona moved from Norway to Australia to pursue her dream of studying fashion design. She graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 2020, right as the world slowed down. During that time, she discovered a new form of creativity: candle making.
Growing up, scented candles were a luxury her family simply couldn’t afford. They weren’t part of her everyday life, they were something distant. Pâeez was created to change that narrative.
The brand is a reflection of memory, heritage, and warmth, a modern interpretation of home, inspired by her Persian roots and the nostalgia of what once felt out of reach.
